Formed in 2021, in America’s finest city San Diego, Blue Elephant and the Seven Snakes (BE7S) is a four-piece Skate Punk Band that really captures the aggressive fun side of traditional 80’s - 90’s Surf/Skate Punk of Southern California and made it their own.

After years of playing in bands and being in a “serious” mindset, Brandon (Vocals), Lima (Guitar), Rob (Drums), and Vince (Bass) threw that mentality to the side,  and have made this project a good time by enjoying the fun side of being in a band. With a love for bands like Bad Brains, RKL, SNFU, Bad Religion, and Suicidal Tendencies, they set out to incorporate those elements and create a sound that was intense with fast driving rhythms and melodies for the short attention spans of todays youth.

Having been together for a short period of time, David Portnow of Seattle’s famous punk band The Dehumanizers, took notice and immediately signed BE7S to his label, P.I.G. Records. BE7S got straight to work and has been a non stop writing machine. Current and future releases include:

This alignment, with P.I.G. records, has allowed BE7S the freedom to develop their unique sound and unique look. With the help of Lima’s long-time friend, Sima from Belgrade, Serbia, BE7S has a look all its own and really captures the true punk spirit of this band. 

Although the guys in BE7S have full time jobs, families, and responsibilities like adults, they enjoy being on stage and on the road. Any opportunity to bring the fun and great sounds to a new audience is always welcome. With just a handful of shows under their belt, they hopped on a plane and rocked the great state of Washington. After that they branched out to other states like Arizona and Nevada and gained more fans at each show. Opening for acts like the Mentors, Diesel Boy, Strung Out, the Famous Meteors from the UK, Cigar, Jugheads Revenge, D.I. and Various local bands, BE7S has gained a reputation as a first-class act. 

BE7S has a work ethic like no other. Playing in Costa Rica for the Unidad Punk Festival is just a small sample of what these guys will do to get their brand of Punk spirit to the masses. If that wasn’t enough, future touring plans include a West Coast Tour, Midwest tour, and European tour in 2026. These guy are ready to roll and bring their DIY punk ethos to your town.
